Stop the Censorship: Social Justice Campaign

An advertisement on a phone saying 'stop the censorship,' on a bright red, pixelated asterisk

This was a campaign created for my advertising design class. The project required us to select a social justice issue and create an advertising campaign around it. Due to its growing relevance, I chose censorship. I used an asterisk as a repeated motif across the ads (which is commonly used to censor words). With this symbol I 'censored' each different ad in a way that was relevant to its type of media. Pixelated, covered up, scribbled out, and taped over.
